Parks & Recreation
The City of Harper has a beautiful park located on West Main Street. The park has two shelters, a large raised gazebo, restrooms, and several picnic tables. There is a horseshoe pit, basketball courts (newly redone in 2010), tennis courts and new playground equipment also located in the park.
Enjoy our walking path that winds through the park and around the pool and tennis courts. The path includes stations for sit-ups, pull-ups, and other various fitness activities.
The Harper Swimming Pool is located directly across the street north of the park. It was completely rebuilt in 2002 with zero depth at one end for the youngsters and 3 slides and diving board at the other end for the more experienced swimmers.

Our ballfields are located in the south part of town. If you will turn south off Highway 160 onto Pine St, you will drive straight to them. They have newly built restrooms and the ballfield areas are constantly being updated and modernized. The summer concession stand is known for it's fantastic food, many come down just to eat a good meal!
There is a Recreation Board that provides and organizes several activities for the youth in the community to include soccer, baseball, softball, flag football, basketball, and a summer craft program.
