Harper is located in south central Kansas, about 25 miles north of the Oklahoma border and 45 miles southwest of Wichita, Kansas, at the intersection of highways K-2, 160 and State Rd 14. Our population is approximately 1500 people.  Harper is the home to many thriving businesses including eight manufacturers, nine restaurants, two banks, a grocery store and many other service-related businesses.
Although Harper continues to grow, we still find a way to maintain that “small town” atmosphere.  Harper hosts the annual Harper County Fair, with many folks coming from neighboring towns to enjoy the fun.  Whether it be coming together for the annual Pancake Feed, many Soup and Chili Suppers, or just to sit back, relax and watch the summer baseball games, folks in Harper will find a way to gather and enjoy each other’s company.
